Reese Witherspoon: Big Little Lies

I did not think a show of a bunch of spoiled California house-fraus would be worth watching, but the writing (David E. Kelley) and acting in Big Little Lies are actually quite good.  I like Reese Witherspoon's performance a lot.

The various scenery shots make no sense if you know the area around Monterey and Carmel (and in addition, many of the scenes are actually shot in Malibu and Southern California), but Monterey and the architecture portrayed are characters in this show too.
